There is something extraordinary about the African bushveld just before a storm.

The sky grows heavy with dark, swirling clouds, while the last warmth of the setting sun illuminates the horizon. A solitary tree stands quietly in the open grassland, beneath the immense sky.

Bushveld Storm captures that fleeting moment between light and darkness, stillness and movement.

Through layers of oil paint, I wanted to capture not only the drama of an approaching storm but also the quiet beauty of the landscape beneath it.
