South African Landscape Painting "Bushveld Storm" Oil Painting

An approaching storm gathers over the South African bushveld as the last warmth of the evening sun illuminates the horizon.

Heavy, sweeping clouds contrast with the golden light beneath them, while a solitary tree stands quietly in the open grassland.

Bushveld Storm captures that fleeting moment before the rain arrives — when the landscape seems to hold its breath, suspended between stillness and the power of nature.

Painted in oils on canvas, this original artwork explores the contrast between darkness and light, movement and tranquillity, and the timeless beauty of the South African landscape.
